Ubiquity Firefox Plugin

Today I have installed this wonderful Firefox plug in, which provides command line interface to do very routine things on the net. You can do a bunch of tools without opening a web page. For example, I am inserting this map down here without visiting Google Map page and copying the embedding code or link etc.

Hyderabad

All using simple commands from a small search box which opens with the key press of a few user defined keys.

Or I can do dictionary look up or wiki look up without leaving a web page I am reading or browsing.

Or you can send twitter status updates from any web page without actually launching a client or jumping to twitter web interface. You can bold word selections in an editor box as I just did the word "bold"

I am not much of a Java Script guy and hence I might be always be dependent on others to come up with additional Ubiquity commands.

why don't you give a try to this great add-on. Though this works with latest FireFox beta release only it did not work for me on 3.08 on Vista.
