Rains in Hyderabad !!

It rained heavily in our area in Hyderabad last night. Frequent power disruptions as it's a common practice. The wind was strong too. Some of the plants need to be tended as the wind has bent them, and they need to be tied to proper support again.

Rains are fine but, two nuisences will come along with it in Hyderabad. Power cuts and bad roads. Not that roads are any better when rains are not there. Those potholes get becomes puddles and you can't make out the depth of the ditches. And driving becomes very very difficult.

The power disruption, I do not know if its over cautiousness of the electricity board or really the rians and winds disrupt the supply. But just few drops of rain disrupting the power to entire area ? That's unbelievable. Isn't it worthwhile to fix the transmission line once for all ?

But who will do ? What are "their" incentive to improve situation ?
